Summary
I have diverse experience working in various professional environments in the media industry. I started off, after my first year of BA(Hons) Mass Communication, at a leading newspaper group as an editorial board member for a youth magazine later shifting to an advertising agency as a Copywriter.
I have worked with Express News for almost one and a half year later shifting to Wateen Multimedia as a Producer. I have continued to write freelance, while I have a multitude of documentary films to my credit in varying capacities.
Lately, for the past year I have been involved in projects focusing on humanitarian crisis situations and relevant role of media. This experience has given me knowledge of organisational dynamics in humanitarian organisations and their needs from the media sector to further humanitarian objectives. I also have first-hand experience of what media outlets require from humanitarian community to perform their role effectively.
I have extensive travelling experience across the provinces of Punjab and Sindh.

I'm tasked with producing documentaries for clients primarily in development sector as well as governmental organisations. In the role of director, I'm responsible for the complete production cycle from developing a concept aligned with client's objectives followed by filming and post-production. As part of my job description, I'm expected to establish rapport with our clients as with any creative endeavour documentary filmmaking requires clarity of communication and adaptability.
I excel in all forms of writing - scripting, storyboards, technical proposals and subtitling etc. - and have received rave reviews for my understanding of complex issues coupled with the expertise to morph those into visuals of excellent aesthetic and communication value.
