Key Responsibilities:
• Assisted single handedly manager to manage operations of accounts payable during restructuring phase of the company.
• Assisted financial controller in revamping accounts payable SOPs and implemented it for streamlining the entire process.
• Manually process 400+ invoices amounting billions per month pertaining to different currencies as per SOPs in order to support different departments of the company to continue operations smoothly. Ensure accurate booking of all applicable taxes (Sales tax, Input tax, with-holding tax and Advance tax etc.).
• Effectively investigate and report any discrepancies found in matching vendor invoices against the department requisitions, purchase order and/or receiving report, check request or contract so that no payment is made in excess of the approved cost. Follow up with internal departments to resolve invoice related issues.
• Accurately book liability of petty cash claims, advances, loans, expense reimbursements, utility bills and rentals of regional offices, retail stations, storage depots in SAP with proper GL codes and cost centers and forwards it to the treasury for issuing financial instruments or bank transfer to support immediate disbursements.
• Ensure that assigned vendors and employee accounts etc. are kept up to date in SAP through reconciliation in coordination huge pool of vendors and business unit representatives. Timely clear open items.
• Post Payroll in SAP and coordinate with HR so that all financial impacts are dealt properly.
• Make and edit payment proposals of 1500 plus transactions per month.
