Project Engineer at 2x660 MW coal fired power plant and channel jetty Port Qasim project under supervision of Power China

Responsibilities:

* Correspond and coordinate with clients, project partners and contractors.

* Correspond with in-house departments for execution of project activities.

* Preparing tenders and contract bids.

* Correspond with custom department and responsible for inspection of imported products till the final delivery at site.

* Manage yearly inspections by authorized bodies for equipment including heavy crane up to 150 tons, unloader, elevator and pressure vessel.

* Prepare and maintain record of purchase orders of equipment/material for the project.

* Responsible for submission and approval of data of equipment/material and miscellaneous design from client.

* Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels.

* Communicated with accounting and finance departments to obtain payment approval.

* Supervising labor activities and monitoring their performance.

* Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements

* Overseeing the standard and progress of subcontractor’s work.

* Maintains company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.

* Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and
elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
