My Responsibilities

To analyze the quality of Goods as per buyer specification through sampling and lab testing thus reporting the buyer about the quality of the Goods from specific sellers whether it is fit for consumption or not.
Perform Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) of Bulk shipment, checking the quantity and quality of the load Cargo. In this case I have performed with my team pre-shipment inspection of 33,000 MT of Pakistan Milling Wheat. It also includes Vessel holds inspection and Initial final Draft Survey of Vessel.
Perform Post landing inspection (PLI) of break bulk shipment. In this case I have performed PLI of White Sugar exported to Pakistan. Tallying the number of bags mentioned in Cargo plan and commercial invoice and checking the number of damaged bags.
To follow up with local and International clients from start of inquiry till invoicing via emails, phone and visits etc and to keep them update. Also to keep records and to do documentations like issuing of Quality / Quantity certificates or survey reports.
GOTS certification, performing shadow audit of Unit as per GOTS standard.

My Responsibilities

To follow up inquiry of local and International client majorly form Indonesia, China, Bangladesh Hong Kong.
Procurement of merchandise / Goods as per client specification.
Negotiating price with seller and buyers.
Defining terms and conditions like mode of payment , shipment date, sampling ,LC terms, testing etc
Finalizing of Contract.
To keep client update about their order shipment on daily basis.
Negotiating with Shipping agent if required likes asking for 7 or 14 days detention or demurrage free, B/L etc
To meet the requirements of Terms Conditions as per LC or contract and to make sure shipment is done on time.
To keep records of Client and shipping documents and perform relative documentation.

Mahmood Textile Mills Ltd. is a sister company of Mahmood Group of Industry. This group is a vertical unit consists of Ginning, Spinning, Weaving, Apparel, Tannery, Cotton fields, Farm fields and Power plants. In this group I was assigned as Assistant Marketing Manager in Grey Fabric department at Head Office (Multan).

My Responsibilities

To assist my Marketing Manager in completion of Buyer orders.
Assist in buying of raw materials and other accessories required by the production department.
Completion of documents required by Export department to negotiate LC with banks. The computerized system / software were installed to increase the efficiency of work. My job was to issue Dispatch order, progress reports, packing list and production status.
Ensuring that the order / Good are ready to ship as per date of shipment.
Follow up inquiry from the date of contract signed till invoicing and shipment.
