I am Masters in Environmental Sciences with 15 plus years experience of

environmental management and social development and community mobilization education with national/international NGOs and public sector.I have a strong background of environmental and infrastructure development sector and exposure of water and sanitation projects.I have vast experience of social and environmental safeguards and environmental laws and policies compliance.I have been working with close collaboration of WB,ADB and other local(Federal and provincial government Departments/organizations,City District Governments and entities) and international organizations.

I have worked as environment expert in a variety of projects related to urban development transport irrigation and drainage hydropower solid waste, and water and sanitation sector. I have provided necessary requirement in field to ensure HSE compliance and overall environmental sustainability in development sector projects. My professional experience in environmental management ,social and environmental safeguards compliance in donor (WB ADB) funded projects ,environmental assessment , community consultations and their grievances redress resolutions along with design of Grievance Redress Mechanism(GRM) and practical field work experience for Resettlement Action Plan (RAPs) and gender analysis have strongly justified me to continue as senior professional in the field of environmental and social safeguards.

Being Sector Head of Environmental and Social Safeguards Sector, I have successfully completed a number of social and environmental assessment studies (IEE/EIA/SEA) and other necessary documents (ESMF, EARF, LARF.LARP, SAR, ESIA) in development projects.

Being focal point between donors (WB and ADB) and GoP, I have worked in projects to manage proper socio-environmental control of the project monitored and ensured the implementation of ESMF and prepared quarterly monitoring/progress reports for submission to the relevant government departments and the World Bank coordinated with the national and international stakeholders and provincial departments designed and launched training/capacity enhancement programs for Government Officers, field practitioners and internal junior staff on environmental and social safeguards ,and constantly provided technical support to the other sector heads and team leads in overall implementation and compliance of local and national environmental laws/policies and social and environmental safeguards.
