Responsible for supervision and QC site implementation, Inspection, and testing of Boilers, Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, and other static equipment at ADNOC GP, Ruwais. My responsibilities include
Supervising the Preventive maintenance and Internal Inspection activities of Static Equipment like boilers, heat exchangers, vessels, tanks, furnaces, air coolers, fin fan coolers, filters. Familiar to perform activities all maintenance & construction activities as per plan & schedule.
To monitor, review the mechanical activities, shutdowns, and running plant routine maintenance to ensure that all mechanical construction activities are carried out safely and fully in accordance with the company's HSE and technical requirements.
Site visit & fully aware scope of work.
Ensure the work is progressing within the project scope.
Familiar to perform activities all maintenance & construction activities as per plan & schedule.
Heat exchangers identification of tube leak and plugging of leaking tube.
leading a team of 30 persons (Technicians, Fitters, Riggers, Helpers)
Coordination with ADNOC GP personnel to arrange required material, spare parts on site.
Close coordination with QA/QC personnel of ADNOC GP to perform internal inspection NDT, hydro testing, and leak testing of pressure vessels, boilers, heat exchangers Process Filters, storage tanks, and pipelines.
Attending meetings with management to report daily status according to schedule.
Follow up with the supporting departments for the execution of projects on time including the arrangement of PTW (Permit to Work).
Coordination with the client on a daily basis to discuss the potential issue, progress, and requirements.
Giving Hsc awareness and conducting toolbox meetings for completing job tasks with all the safety requirements at the site.
Installation of high & low-pressure valves. (Gate, globe, butterfly, NRV, PSV) and ensure pipe specification and its fitting as per drawing.
Ensure the calibration of all equipment used at the site has done and kept the records of celebration.
Provide support to the team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety, and environmental issues.
My duties includes
Inspection of incoming materials (Plates, dish ends, tubes, pipes, fittings, valves, gaskets, filler materials and etc.) as per related recommended drawing, Specs/P.O & standards and Verifying the MTR according to the code.
Inspecting the non-standard items as per drawings, sketches provided.
Visual & dimensional inspections of plates, pipes, flanges, fittings etc.
Preparing the inspection reports for coded items.
Accepting or rejecting the material in MIR.
Ensuring the equipment’s and tools used for inspections are calibrated.
Raising a NCR if found any non-conformity during inspection.
Preparing the test coupon for testing test specimens if required
Stage inspection of all the parts as per drawing of assigned project.
After inspection prepare the dimensional inspection reports and welding data are daily update in the reports.
Verification of contractor bill after the final inspection of structure/pressure parts.
Witness by welding inspection of all stages (before, during & after welding) according to code and standards.
Visual inspection of completed weld joints and Preparing Weld Matrices and NDE Map
Perform inspection in accordance with the approved ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
Coordination with the third party inspections, Destructive & Non Destructive Testing.
Inspection of all fit-up before welding according to drawings.
Check and prepare WPS, PQR and witness of WQT as per ASME IX.
Ensure all welders are properly qualified in accordance with governing codes.
Ensure a system of consumable control is implemented.
Check validate certificates of calibration (welding equipment & inspection instruments)
Preparing ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) or QIP (Quality Inspection Plan).
Preparing Dossier/IDM (Inspection Data Manual)/MDM (Manufacturing Data Manual).

Check fit-up of joint as per drawing.
Inspection of welding according to drawings, to ensure that welding is done as per welding procedure by implementing various processes and techniques.
To keep the record of all welding consumables and their pre requisites.
Arrangements for Welders Tests as per procedures.
Preparation of weld maps, matrix and reports.
Prepare requests for NDT purposes.
