Engage with local partners for emergency response following the process agreed under the Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP).
Provide guidance to partners at all stages of the humanitarian program cycle (assessments, implementation, monitoring and evaluation).
Provide technical guidance and oversight in ensuring management of sub-unit resources, budgets, process and projects being implemented by MAP under its humanitarian portfolio.
Provide technical quality assurance for all humanitarian program interventions and represent MA in clusters and other forums at national and provincial levels.
Manage emergency project budgets and ensure donor compliances.
Coordinate and collaborate with relevant technical and support departments for development and implementation of effective humanitarian program.
Ensure planning of safe delivery and distribution of goods/ services to beneficiaries, including advising on and adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety and security measures, and training partner staff.
Ensure maximized utilization of assigned human resources and keep Head of programmes informed about potential needs for both existing and emergency response.
Work with Partners to advocate/strengthen/develop national level policies, procedures, and Pakistan’s governance framework, relevant to MAP; with particular focus on ensuring the delivery of an effective, efficient, timely humanitarian response to natural and man-made disasters.
Liaise with the program support function as appropriate to identify and plan the support needed for implementation of humanitarian projects across Pakistan.
Promote the development, adaptation, testing, and mainstreaming of best practices in needs assessment, project design, implementation, and closure.
Develop and deliver capacity building initiatives in identified areas, including training and mentoring of project staff, partner organizations and targeting communities based on gaps in specific areas of knowledge and practice

Represent MAP humanitarian response to local authorities, donors and members of the humanitarian community.
Be responsible for ongoing coordination and representation of MAP to relevant organizations, particularly government officials, UN, INGOs, communities, and donors as appropriate.
Actively engage with all relevant technical, operational and strategic program unit team members to identify and respond to funding opportunities for humanitarian work, both in current operational areas and new geographic areas.
Build evidence of best practices in humanitarian response and resilience programming and ensure the field teams incorporate the practices into the program whilst also enabling them to present at local and global forums.
Participate in relevant meetings at the national and policy levels in assigned areas of work to advance MAP’s humanitarian agenda.
Support business development efforts in building new partnerships, finding donor opportunities, and developing proposals, linked with the development portfolio of MAP.
Provide strategic direction on programming for Humanitarian Response with Disaster Risk Management and resilience mainstreamed/embedded in all stages.
Envision clear strategy on Disaster Risk Management and Resilience that is being operationalized across the country programme.
Cultivate long term partnerships with counterparts, think tanks and government entities leveraging MA Pakistan as prime actor in Disaster Risk Management and Resilience.
Develop and deepen country programme level strategic direction on localization.
Coordinate with specialists and advocacy teams to integrate/synergize Disaster Risk Management and Resilience work with the agenda of Climate Change and Adaptation.
Put together concept notes and proposals for humanitarian response, disaster risk management and resilience by engaging with field teams and thematic leads.
Extend strategic, technical and operational support to the programme across the country that MA Pakistan responds to any disaster in a timely, effective and efficient manner in case of any disaster in Pakistan.
Ensure consistent engagement with Disaster Management Authorities, Institutional Donors and UN agencies to positively influence in agenda and strategy setting of respective entities.
Develop organizational mechanism of humanitarian coordination within and external actors that helps strategizing and profiling response efforts.
Closely work with MEAL team to undertake RAPID need assessments and learning exercises feeding into robust DRM programming.
Coordinate with safeguarding, inclusion and child protection leads to ensure that organizational commitments are demonstrated in programmes and behaviors of the teams working with and for vulnerable segments of communities.
Engage with Media and Communication Team to capture and disseminate the best practices of DRM programme deepening partnerships with MA partners and donors.
Contribute in national strategy and annual business plans with emphasis upon resilience and disaster risk management.
Chalk out plans in collaboration with Manager Strategic Partnerships and Business to tapping institutional and corporate donors for DRM programming, particularly disaster risk management and resilience.
Strategize humanitarian response being planned, executed, monitored, evaluated, and reported ensuring effective grants management.
Coordinate with regional and global disaster risk management teams to proactively contribute in updating/refining DRM work in the light of localization.

 

 Ensuring technical level donor compliance including adherence to project modalities, achievement of program objectives and tracking of indicators.
 Responsible to attend district, provincial, national level and where appropriate, important national/provincial/field-level technical forums, working groups, workshops and strategic think tanks related to the department.
 Work with the Field teams and SPLQ team in identifying needs, gaps, priority areas and appropriate interventions in locations where MAP works and in new locations in the mission country.
 Ensuring integration of programs with other departments.
 Responsible for ensuring monitoring and reporting systems are in place and in line with MAP and donor requirements.
 Providing timely input of technical specifications for supplies to Logistics and follows up technical validation of procurement.
 Providing continuous support to Program Manager in activity financial forecasting.
 Ensure progress and relevant issues are highlighted with MAP management and that timely decision-making in carried out to facilitate smooth-running of the projects/ Programmes.
 Provide Facilitation to MER Officer to develop M&E plans and systems, assist in assessments, Base line surveys and KAP studies and developing tools for these exercises.
 Responsible to ensure that information and reports are adequately managed and maintained in appropriate manner and retrievable.
 Managing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems in close coordination with the Programme Managers for the activities and to train the respective national staff in this regard.
 Monitor and evaluate the activities of national partner organization according to the set resources and respective budget.
 Responsible for ensuring that all relations with the communities where work are conducted in a respectful and consultative manner. Due attention must be paid to ensuring that communities are adequately consulted and informed about MAP

Household selection, data management, team management and supervision.

Design/implement and monitor ACTED projects in targeted areas.
Monitor and oversea the partner organization to ensure implementation and quality of work.
Ensure proper and regular documentation and reporting.
Liaison and coordinate with the district department, Tehsil government, local ngo’s, donors and communities.
Ensures the implementation and follow up of all program activities in Balakot under the supervision of the Area Coordinator and in close cooperation with the Program Manager.
Assist Program Manager for the implementation of the program activities in a consistent manner.
Coordinates with the Program Manager to build and improve systems to supervise and manage the implementation and monitoring of the programs.
Supervise the Training programs in the field and build capacity of staff and communities in identified areas.
To manage and conduct training orientation sessions and develop its materials including training schedule and work plan. Planning, managing, implementing & monitoring different skills development training\'s and coordinate with resource persons/ facilitators to fill this gap.
Provides monitoring data and other relevant information to AMEU on a regular basis.
Monitor ongoing projects (WASH, Health and Community infrastructure projects)
Coordinates with the Program Manager to build and improve systems to build and manage the strong field team.
Design/ Implement and monitor the BCC strategy in field.
Write case studies and success stories and report to donors.
Organize Advocacy Seminar and Exchange/exposure visits.
Mange and supervise the Operation and financial matters at base level.

To conduct Health and Hygiene sessions in Governmental Schools of Neelum Valley of AJK.
Work as a Training Supervisor with Acted.
Conduct Training of Teachers in SSHE& CTC Approach.
Organize PHAST tools Trainings in Schools.
Conduct/Organize the Training of the PTA’s on Health & Hygiene.
Conduct/Organize Recreational activities in School.
Organize the Hygiene Competition and Street theaters in different Schools.
Check the Performance of (School Environment Committee) and prepare strategy for its functionality.
To prepare daily, weakly and monthly progress reports.
Collecting relevant data and responsible for preparing SEC according to required specification.
Monitor awareness session in Schools and regular monitor school health promotion activities.
As a Team Leader Check and supervise the work of all the Hygiene Promoters.
Provide emergency latrines and water supply schemes to all the Schools.
Write case study/success stories and report to donor.
Attend the Monthly meeting with UNICEF to review the progress.
Attend weekly meeting with area coordinator to review the progress.

 To conduct Health and Hygiene sessions in Schools

 Responsible to deliver Health and Hygiene Education session to student and teachers.
 To enroll 5 to 7 year children through volunteers in to Schools.

 Making daily and weekly activity report and monthly progress reports.

 Provide oversight of beneficiary targeting supervision and distribution to ensure that process is transparent, accountable and fair.
 Develop and maintain relationships with other organizations working in the targeted communities to add to the assistance available to returnees.
 Distribute the NFI among the vulnerable communities in Camp and communities.
