Plan and coordinate the social Development Activities insuring full integration with the technical activities.
Provision of Guidance to the staff and the Partners Organizations.
Train and support the partner organizations and social Development Staff.
Planing, Monitoring and reporting of the projects.
Contribute to develop Social Mobilization activities guidelines, work plan future planning, training curricula and information material.
Monitor evaluate and report back on Social mobilization activities.
Identify and documents emerging issues and possible solution as well as good practices
• Work closely with the DC office to make the DDMA functional, and facilitate coordination with various departments and stakeholders.
• Support the DC office in developing an annual work plan and budget for the DDMA.
• Provide support to the DC office for development and preparation of PC-1 for budget allocations to DDMA.
• Ensure that PC-1s in preparation/approval are sensitized with DRM components.
• Facilitate the establishment of DDMAs office along with the appointment of some designated staff.
• Establish district DRM coordination forum involving various departments, I/NGOs, and other stakeholders.
• Carryout the district level training for government authorities and communities on DRM.
• Conduct HVCA exercises focusing on floods/cyclones/other coastal hazards using different research techniques.
• Provide technical input in developing disaster resilient Model Union Council as per UC plan against the flood & cyclone hazard including Community Based Flood & Cyclone Early Warning System.
• Carryout drills, awareness raising and other planned activities under the One UN DRM programme.
• Liaison with respective PDMA or other district/provincial/ federal departments as per requirement.
• Submit project reports to NDMA/UNDP/PDMA and DCO Office as per the schedule and ensure that progress and achievements are highlighted against the outcomes and outputs of the approved project documents.
• Supervision and keeping update on progress regarding construction of Model Village at Bhakkar District.
• Strong liaison with Rescue 1122 on Disaster management plan and the Disaster Contingency plan of the district and the community awareness programme on disaster risk reduction.
• Strong liaison with INGOs and the NGOs as District representative to avoid duplication in the district on same places.
• Capacity Building and the participation and organize the DRR/DRM seminar for awareness in the communities and the at office level.
• Maintain all record of correspondence at office level to keep the management update.
• Plan the activities for field teams on Polio vaccinations.
• Maintain files of polio effected children at office level to keep the management update.
• Get feedback and progress on polio eradication initiatives by the field teams and pool data to share with management.
• Regularly maintenance of record from the field teams on trainings and the other and district level.
• Scrutiny of DDM Cards of teams for payments to avoid duplications in payments.
• Maintenance of Polio vaccinated children at teams of town level.
• Town wise analysis about the progress on Polio eradication initiatives.

• Collection of CVs, short listing and interviews and test of the candidates to recruit the people for new advertised positions.

• Initial orientation training in social mobilization for the department staff seconded for the project implementation.
• Development of a simple guideline for the community participation process for the use of COs and department staff, explaining process, organization, meetings schedules COs/ agendas and roles and responsibilities.
• Lead the process for initial contacts with community, introduction of the project and organizing the communities into representative COs and selection of CO office bearers
• Assist in the development and signing of TOPs between the department and COs and CO based work Plan for identified activities and mutual roles and responsibilities.
• Assist the COs in development of record keeping, reporting and accounting procedures and opening of joint bank account.
• Attend monthly meetings of the COs and assist the COs and department staff in regular review of progress, troubleshooting and strengthening of Cos.
