Design And Fabrication of Exoskeleton for Paraplegics

The objective we have in this project is to help humanity through technical aspects so we have chosen this Lower Limb Exoskeleton. We have worked on Three Degree of Freedom (3DOF) in Sagittal plane of one leg i.e. Ankle, Knee and Hip movement in flexion and extension. This Exoskeleton can be worn on leg and can augment the human gait with the help of its structure. This Exoskeleton works mainly on the phenomenon of EMG Sensor which is its main part. The signal is generated by the muscle of body and is read by the EMG sensor and then this signal is transmitted to the controller which is ARDUINO Mega. The controller forwards this signal to the actuator the SERVO Motor and as a result the motion of structure is formed. The controller works on fed Arduino program which is based on GAIT cycle of a human. The power is provided by the battery. It will help the stroke affected and polio victims to walk again in proper way.
