Summary

My study at highest level is masters degree in business administration in year 2006 with good grades from Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar a well reputed and remarked public sector business school in Pakistan, my education was immediately followed by inception of a long and compassionate journey of humanitarian work spread across communities in Pakistan, along with a short term mission to South Sudan.

I have a long-standing interest in humanitarian work and i believe that I have the qualities and experience required to be a successful team member within this domain. My enthusiasm for pursuing a career in this capacity stems from my interest in working with disadvantaged /marginalized people, and my desire to make full use of my skills in motivating people to make a difference. Motivating people to work with me towards a common and worthwhile goal is something that I find hugely enjoyable and rewarding.

With above seven years as an Aid worker I had been engaged with numerous donors such as (USAID, Danish Red Cross, Swiss Red Cross, Swiss Solidarity, DFID, FAO, ECHO, IOM, BPRM and UNICEF) , with national and international humanitarian organizations alike developing and implementing donor supported projects . My experience covers working in an Emergency Response, Early Recovery and Rehabilitation/Development context, I have directly implemented numerous multi sector programs in my career which cover thematic areas such as Livelihoods, Emergency Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture, WASH, Shelter Assistance, NFIs Provision, Cash Transfer Program , Disaster Risk Reduction, Local Economic Development, Community Physical infrastructure and Public Health.

While I was working for these programs, I exhibited a shared purpose by believing in what I do and motivated others feel the same way. I am effective in team situations, and enjoy working with others to achieve challenging targets I have hunted opportunities when working with these programs and have come across people and communities of diverse expertise and background throughout Pakistan.
I am very easy to work with and I believe in the philosophy of participatory approach and leadership coming from community level to attain sustainable development. To deliver results, achieve targets and develop professionally, sharing knowledge and information has always proved vital and decisive for me.
Application of Humanitarian Accountability Principles at my job by me and people working under my inspiration has always been fundamental to my professional insight, and it has always distinguished and refined my work.

Furthermore the financial portfolio of the Programs I have set off or have been part of its implementation or assessment and development are valued at approx. 41 Million USDs, which has enabled me to have comprehensive hands on experience and understanding of Financial Management and Budgeting.
My hands on skills include but are not limited to Program Development-Fund Raising, Resource Mobilization/Implementation, Logistics Management, Human Resource Management, Financial/Grant Management and Monitoring/Evaluation. However I am always excited to improve my skills and put myself into a position which offers new learning opportunities.
