Production Engineer
Production planning:
· Design monthly, weekly and daily production plan; manufacturing SOPs to ensure smooth batch production of different types of resins, oils, pigments, protein binders, hand sanitizers, liquid soaps etc.
· Ensure safe and smooth dropping of pressurized ammonia, caustic, Styrene, Acrylonitrile, Acrylic Acid, and Butyl Acrylate etc. during resin and oils production.
· Render a keen eye for detail to perform root cause analysis for every process failure or breakdown and solve the issues on due time.
Procurement of Packaging & Raw Materials:
· Exercise hands-on approach to investigate the market and identify new supplier to increase bargaining power of the organization, projected demand using qualitative and quantitative methods.
· Spearhead procurement departments and manage entire staff and delegating tasks; control quality and maintain stock of all incoming packaging materials i.e., drums, bottles, bags, cartons etc.
· Supervise inventory of packaging to establish supply-demand equilibrium, leverage procurement of raw materials i.e., essence, sodium silicate, paraffin wax, sodium format, sodium bi carbonate oils, acids etc.
· Source MRO inventory stationary, lab equipment, pumps, valves, filters etc from local vendors; generate demand forecast using qualitative and quantitative methods.
· Organize and arrange Space vessel/tank before arrival of new packaging and raw materials as well as manage local raw materials and follow-up with suppliers against shortfall.
HSE Responsibilities:
· Ensure worksites compliance with HSE standards with company policies and HSE standards; inspect precaution of HSE on plant and site; assess risk of the plant and accordingly prepared JSA.
· Perform monthly audit of hot work permit and confine space certification; conduct periodic noise survey of plant and its recommendation and inspection of Boilers, Cooling Towers and RO Plant.
· Define and devise Lock Out/Tag Out practice for maintenance teams and production workers; inspect cooling system before exothermic reaction.
