Throughout my career, I have managed and implemented various projects with different INGOs. This experience has provided me with valuable insights into different development and humanitarian models. My exceptional skills include project management, leadership, communication, conflict management, advocacy and lobbying, liaising, training, report writing, and marketing, making me well-equipped for the development and humanitarian profession.
Currently, I hold a leadership position at Welthunger Hilfe (WHH). In this role, I am actively overseeing a multispectral project focusing on anticipatory action, groundwater management, water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), and Construction initiatives.
Before joining WHH, I gained valuable experience working with Malteser International, Global Communities, and the International Development Relief Foundation. During my time there, I successfully implemented two WASH projects, which included WASH in Schools, WASH in hospitals and actively engaged with the local community within their catchment area to address various WASH-related challenges and ensure sustainable solutions were implemented.
CSR model of SINDH ENGRO & GOVERNMENT OF SINDH is working on community engagement, through line department, and other relevant stakeholders by creating partnership to resolve the basic issues of the community.
My Core job description in CSR is,
To Develop CSR Communications Material: Prepared high-quality reports, PowerPoint presentations, data sheets, and content for the annual sustainability report. Ensure timely submission of CSR briefs/reports as directed by the Team Lead (TL).
Propose Social Project Ideas: Generate innovative ideas for social projects that align with the WASH sector. Create comprehensive project proposals/concept papers based on guidance from the TL. Ensure the implementation of all approved projects as per annual CSR plans. This includes generating minute sheets, clearing payments for partners, and maintaining records. Design monitoring methodologies and frameworks to track the progress of CSR projects, collect regular weekly reports and data, and analyse outcomes and impacts.
Budget Planning and Execution: Assist the TL in developing the annual CSR - Over & Above budget. Ensure effective utilization of the CSR budget as approved by the management. Ensure that all budgeted projects meet the given timeline by achieving milestones in the project cycle and facilitating the smooth execution of projects.
Prepare Reports and Promotional Material: Collect data and collaborate with other departments to prepare the Annual Communications on Progress (COP), which serves as the annual report on SDGs performance submitted to UNGC. Prepare all the necessary content for media promotional activities and manage social media campaigns.
Coordinate CSR Events and Visibility: Manage coordination and preparation for all CSR events, visits, and relevant gatherings where the CSR department is participating. Assist in ensuring strong visibility of CSR projects in the media by preparing communication materials for the events, including invitations, press releases, scripts, backdrops, and standees.
Malteser International is a worldwide humanitarian relief agency of the Sovereign Order of Malta. Its projects are focused to provide medical relief and recovery during and following conflicts and disasters. Malteser is primarily active in the field of Health, disaster management, humanitarian relief in emergencies, climate change resilience, and WASH.
Here I led five projects in about seven years; three among 5 were for 3 years of duration each, and two were for six months duration. These projects aim to strengthen resilience through inclusive Humanitarian Health care, COVID 19, WASH, and livelihood measures.
Achievements:
· Launched Emergency responses at Fire incident in village Vikariyo -near Islamkot of Tharparke 2016. Thatta rain flood in 2015, Drought during 2015 – 2021 at Thatta and Sanghar, Heatwave Sindh 2016, Locust attacks in 2020. Rain flood 2020, and Covid 19, 2020 – 2022 at Sanghar.
· Implemented primary Health care, Gynae, and obs activities in three Govt. Hospitals.
· Establishment of Provincial Emergency Operating Centre (PEOC) at PDMA Sindh office.
· Established DRR resource centre at University of Sindh – Thatta campus.
· Developed Communication and Behavioural Impact Plans (COMBI) in Thatta and Sanghar projects for behavioural change.

· Developed 5 different BCC three minutes’ videos on Hand washing.
· Successfully completed a project named Global COVID 19 at Sanghar – Sindh.
· Developed three videos on COVID AWARENESS and disseminated them to the community.
· Worked in recent COVID 19 pandemic emergencies in Pakistan and assisted communities and Local Govt in the Public health and Livelihood sector
· Being the security focal point of Sindh, developed the security plans for Thatta and Sanghar.
· Co-writer – Health preparedness plan District Thatta
· Developed IEC material on CBDRM along with a 40-minute movie which was aired by different famous TV channels.
· Developed SoPs on Early Warning System in collaboration with Handicap Int.
· Assessment of groundwater with proper lab investigation to install 200 Hand pumps for drinking purposes in water-scarce areas of Sanghar and Keti bunder.
· Conditional and unconditional 5000 plus HHs cash grants provision.
· Active Representation in PHF, PDMA, DDMA, WASH, and other relevant provincial working groups
To provide specialist advice to professional staff, consumers, and various agencies involved in actual and suspected child abuse.
Trained different stakeholders like; Religious leaders, media, legislators, and Police on the “Child marriage restraint Act”
Signed MOU between Social welfare and DevCon – on child protection.
Established mobile van schools for street children in Karachi.
Designed and implemented DRR and WASH Project. Ensure design, BoQs, tools, and implementation of WASH construction activities are according to DRR standards.
Constructed 80 one-room shelters by following DRR guidelines,
80 latrines by following IDRR guidelines.
30 Handpumps and one water supply scheme through IDRR guidelines.

Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans.
Assist the Project manager in establishing the monitoring and evaluation framework and system to ensure effective implementation of project strategic plan. Conduct regular monitoring visits to the field.
Prepare reports required for submission to the donor in order to evaluate the response.
Construction of transitional School structure, Hiring, and training of para teachers, Established ECE classes, Established sports spaces in schools.
Develop strategies and initiatives to enhance and improve beneficiary selection processes.
Line manages all staff including mobilizers and ensures their facilitation and mentoring of program teams in the transition from emergency approaches to the establishment of community development approaches and partnerships.
