I work on different project including my final year project which is design of Bluetooth low energy beacon 5.0 for digital marketing purpose.our beacon will be working on Bluetooth 5.0 standard, the data size of the packet will be enhanced and we will be able to transmit the packet greater than 47 bytes. So a reasonable sized URL can be transmitted over the Bluetooth through this beacon. Our design will be work on BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) so it will be highly efficient and it will be powered by a button cell and the battery life will be around 2 – 3 months. The problem with the approached using these days, that is pushing data to handheld devices through Bluetooth 3.0 was problematic. The user first needs to register itself and on the back end a database of registered users is maintained that is a wastage of space and the user needs to remember his/her credentials to log in and receive URLs next time. In our proposed solution, there won’t be any registration process so no database to maintain record of registered users, the user will get a push notification that whether he/she wants to receive the URL containing the offers or not, if yes, the next packet will be transmitted containing URL of the database containing all the advertisements, if no, it will be eliminated.
