Working on Import, Export & Cross Trade Shipments for both LCL/FCL movements, also offering Customs Clearance, Transportation & warehousing facility leading to revenue for the company.
Maintain records of customer details & identify potential customers.
Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
Take part in the weekly / monthly sales meetings.
Pro-actively identify & develop profitable new opportunities, through existing and potential clients to generate increased revenue and market share.
Networking & Cold Calling with other Shipping Lines and Freight forwarders.
Core working on Import/Export of both LCL & FCL Cargo also Identifying key growth sectors in the region.
Give overall customer service to shipper/consignee from initial to final.
Negotiating rates and service levels with customers & study existing competitor solutions.
Managing quotes and closing deals effectively and efficiently to successfully convert into revenue.
Maintain a watch on industry developments within the region.
