• Responsible for smooth and efficient operation of VSAT (SCPC& CNC) Network.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
• Fault diagnosis and rectification of transmission media faults.
• Fault localization using hard & soft loop analysis
• Daily Reports generation to record total down time and causes using Office Excel.
• Monthly reports to find out overall Network efficiency using Office Excel.
• Reports of corrective and preventive maintenances using Office Word.
• Coordinate with Other Engineers and technicians to perform routine maintenance jobs.
• Execution of corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance plan.
On Job Technical Skills
• Use of test instruments BERT (sunlight), Spectrum Analyzer (FSH18).
• In-depth understanding of Cisco Routers and switches.
• Routing protocols OSPF, BGP, ACLS
• Working on Comtech EF Modem CDM625 Comtech CSAT5060 RFTs, LNAs, SSPAs, OMT.
• Monitoring of VSAT sites of Mobilink (Telecom Company) in Multan dera adda Rex MSC through PRTG software.
