As a Senior Monitoring Assistant in the Balochistan project funded by INL-P (Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs), my role involves overseeing the progress of agriculture and infrastructure grants through real-time monitoring and tailored data collection tools. Working under the National Deputy Programme Officer's supervision and with guidance from the National M&E Officer, I develop technical monitoring plans, create monitoring tools and templates, conduct field visits, and prepare progress reports. Ensuring compliance with quality control and environmental plans, I report challenges, support staff training, monitor project standards, and coordinate with other sections for effective implementation. My adaptable approach contributes to timely decision-making, ultimately enhancing the project's successful outcomes.

As the MEAL Officer, I was responsible for developing and running an efficient MEAL system for the project in coordination with the Project Management and Sr. MEAL Manager. My duties involved designing and implementing data analysis dashboards at the provincial level, collecting and entering data into data management systems, validating data for accuracy and consistency, and creating appropriate formats for data collection. I was also tasked with conducting data quality assessments, audits, and providing support for improved data management practices. Furthermore, I led surveys and studies to assess the relevance and effectiveness of project interventions, promoted accountability, collected feedback from beneficiaries, and helped the project team make informed decisions. Additionally, I maintained accurate filing systems, led the documentation of lessons learned, and finalized and shared case studies, human interest stories, and most significant change stories.

I am previously worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation, and Learning Officer for Mercy Corps. I support the project Coordinator in planning and overseeing all monitoring activities of the response, including the implementation of the M&E plan. I provide support in compiling project data, monitoring data quality, and tracking progress against performance indicators and targets. I also carry out On-Site Data Verification (OSDV) and Routine Data Quality Assessments (RDQA) of response partners and Mercy Corps' own operations. In addition, I conduct regular field visits to monitor and verify information, and support the MEL Manager in the implementation of the performance monitoring plan, SAAD data aggregation, and the storage of documents. I also assist in the review of data bases and data tracking tools of program activities, to ensure data quality and to collate reliable and consistent data that meets the minimum reporting requirements of donors and Mercy Corps MEL. Finally, I support the MEL Manager to ensure the implementation of all CARM-related activities, including the training of Mercy Corps and Partner staff, the identification of community sensitization activities based on the project nature, and the ensure that the community is aware of the CARM mechanism in flood response in Quetta.

I was responsible for leading the development and overseeing the roll-out of the organizational MEAL system. I also promoted all aspects of MEAL to support the creation of an organizational culture which prioritizes quality programming. I worked closely with the programme teams to ensure that MEAL became an integral element of project implementation leading to enhanced quality, accountability, management and impact. I also performed data exploration, analysis and modeling on the database, resulting in written and analytical reports. I responded and resolved issues recorded through beneficiaries’ feedback mechanism. I also developed or adapted project-specific MEAL tools.

I have worked as a Programme Associate M&E and VAM with United Nations World Food Programme based at Quetta Office. I have provided necessary support to the provincial office for monitoring systems, tools, and methods; I have also performed regular data quality checks, followed up on deadlines, and escalated issues as required. I have supported the provincial office with statistical data analysis of proposed surveys and assessments in intervention areas; I have also extracted, analyzed, and summarized the programme monitoring data. I have participated in the creation of provincial and country office dashboards with monitoring data; I have also reviewed the quality of monitoring data used for provincial office and corporate reports. I have enabled the effective communication flow around monitoring within provincial and country office M&E staff and other M&E colleagues based in the field. I have liaised with CO M&E and VAM unit; I have also supported preparation and management of (cross-functional) workshops with monitoring component. I have conducted support missions to intervention areas to ensure that monitoring is efficiently carried out as per standard guidelines. I have also conducted regular field visits to support field activities and follow up on issues in the field and report back for information and action. I have managed systems for beneficiaries’ registration, tracking and distribution planning, and monitoring; I have also assisted in analyzing overall performance on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. I have reported on the effectiveness of WFP activities, constraints, and present recommendations for improvement.

I have worked as a Field Supervisor for a number of research projects. My responsibilities include ensuring the quality of data collected from field sites, conducting debriefing sessions with research officers, addressing issues and problems that occur at field sites, and ensuring that all team members submit collected data to the assigned Team Leader in a timely manner. I have successfully accomplished all tasks assigned to me by the Supervisor.

I have worked as a district coordinator with the UHWO and have been responsible for the planning and implementation of the project activities. I have also liaised with the district and provincial government to run the project activities. I have facilitated the process of data compilation, analysis and sharing of reports. I have also developed linkages and close coordination with different departments like Local Government, including Department of Health, Social Welfare Department and District Government.

I have worked as a project officer with the NGOs Development Society.. In this role, I have been responsible for managing and coordinating a range of projects, including the development of new services, the implementation of new systems, and the evaluation of existing services. I have also been responsible for writing reports and preparing presentations for a variety of audiences, including senior management, government officials, and the general public. In addition to my project management experience, I have also gained valuable experience in policy development, research, and advocacy.
