Responsible for calling on practicing physicians, hospitals, and other health-related
organizations/personnel within an assigned territory. Makes professional presentations using selling skills
to listed doctors on the approved indications of GSK products with a view to increase prescriptions.
Submits reports regarding calls made to doctors and chemists to First line Manager. Follows the approved
tour program, makes planned calls accordingly and presents the coverage in scheduled meetings.
Arranges Product Group Meetings with the doctors to discuss one or two products in detail. Updates
knowledge on competitive products. Collects and reports information on promotional and marketing
moves of the competition. Provides periodic feedback to manager and the marketing group on his own
promotional activities. Coordinates with distributors for desired stock availability of his products with the
retail outlets. Follows the plans to achieve objectives assigned for increased prescription flow from
identified doctors and reports findings periodically to First line Manager.
Achieve and exceed sales target as per the GSK company’s guidelines & policy
Promote Company’s brand & make products available at Chemist / Retail outlet, etc.
Increase and generate prescription base in a defined area.
Use strategically inputs and promotions materials given by Marketing Dept. from time to time to
customers.
To conduct market research and to identify potential market and transfer market information.
Organizing events, seminars, etc. for promoting brands.
Prepare and implement Customer coverage plans
Effectively manage distributor/customers and their operations
Responsible to provide quality and on-time information
Ensure the achievement of agreed targets/KPIs for the assigned Territory
Develop and Implement field Sales Plan for the assigned territory
Ensure adherence to all Company principles and policies
