Myself Sadia, Im 23 years old and I have been born and brought up in Lahore, the 2nd largest city of Pakistan and ancient capital of the Punjab. I belong to a Family where life begins and love never ends. Ive got one younger brother and my mother is a housewife. I got my schooling from well reputed private sector school. After completing my intermediate from Faculty of science at Punjab Group of colleges, my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Ive never seen my life so brutal to me before but at that scattering moment all the hurdles and obstacles became the greatest challenge to me.
I couldnt control what my family was going through but this inspired the desire to become involved in a field that studies fatal diseases and attempts to develop cure for them. Finally I got admission in the Faculty of pharmacy, University of Central Punjab. (October, 2012). My parents were happy with my decision. After my first semester my father tired of fighting gave up on his breaths on 3rd March 2013. Things went wrong and when that whole circumstance robbed all of my energy out of me my mother proved to be my strongest pillar. Somehow she managed to bear all the expenses of her children on her own without any discontinuation in my studies. My interest in medicine was developing day by day. I used to enjoy the chemistry of drug development and the ethics of pharmacy profession.
I conducted a study on hypertension and paralysis patients in Lahore. I was able to develop anti-aging formulation from natural extracts in the final year of Doctor of Pharmacy. Ive been a part of several seminars such as Current challenges in health care system for the motivation of health. 3rd Annual international pharmacy scientific symposium for the motivation of Pharmacy profession. Role of pharmacist in patient care for motivation of Pharmacy profession. Health Awareness Day for the motivation of health. And the various trainings Ive gone through includes Medical camp in Ghogera.
