MANDATORY & ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 Responsible for smooth and defect free coating of pipes at Coating Plant.
 To ensure execution of all the maintenance activities as per established
program and in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
 Effectively coordinate with the production team and ensure the execution of
all maintenance activities for trouble free production.
 Identification, reviewing and resolution of possible technical and other faults.
 Minimize the wastages of coating raw-material.
 Ensure availability of spare and wear parts by raising PR requisition in time.
 Check daily pipe coating reports.
 To revise, add PM, CM plan of machines, necessary amendment in their
frequency using ERP tools, to educate the subordinate staff in respect of the
schedule of maintenance and the procedures to be employed for servicing of
the equipment.
 To ensure that the HSE compliance is followed by self and the subordinate
staff, to assist the Production Manager in implementation of management
system i.e., ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 within the department and
assist him during the audit.

RESPONSIBILTIES
 To educate the subordinate staff in respect of the schedule of maintenance
and the procedures to be employed for servicing of the equipment.
 To provide guidance and training to the maintenance team in fault diagnosis
and its resolution
 To ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities viz.Electricity, compressed air and
chilled water to facilitate trouble free production.
 To maintain a record of the activities as well as to generate reports to keep
the management informed in respect of the status of plant and machinery
 To maintain spare of critical items related to production.
