We are seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer to oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Ericsson network equipment in the South region, particularly focusing on microwave technologies and using Ericsson’s ERITOP tool. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network deployment, optimization, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, configure, and commission Ericsson microwave equipment for network sites.
- Use ERITOP tool for network monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct site surveys, install hardware, and configure transmission systems.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of microwave systems.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams, including project managers, to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with network deployment guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with Ericsson network equipment, particularly microwave technology.
- Proficiency in using Ericsson ERITOP tool.
- Strong understanding of transmission and IP network concepts.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
