The Manager Tarbiyah Programme will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of the Tarbiyah Programme at READ Foundation. This role aims to integrate Tarbiyah into the organization’s ecosystem and values, ensuring a transformative and holistic educational experience aligned with the National Education Policy and Curriculum Guidelines. The goal is to nurture individuals who are morally upright, intellectually edified, socially responsible, physically robust, and spiritually enlightened. The role is central to fostering a comprehensive and transformative approach to education.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and oversee the Tarbiyah Programme’s strategic framework, aligning it with the vision, mission, and values of the READ Foundation. 

2. Ensure the seamless integration of the Tarbiyah Programme across the organization, covering governance, curriculum, teaching practices, and operational processes.

3. Conduct research on educational practices, character-building initiatives, and value education programmes worldwide, focusing on their impact on K-12 educators and students. 

4. Evaluate current Tarbiyah practices within the READ Foundation to identify areas for streamlining and enhancement.

5. Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps in staff knowledge and skills related to Tarbiyah education and values. 

6. Lead the development of a values-based curriculum, ensuring its relevance and effectiveness for students at all levels. 

7. Design and implement training modules for school leaders, teachers, and staff to deepen their understanding and application of Tarbiyah principles. 

8. Establish guidelines and standards for integrating Tarbiyah principles into school operations, extracurricular activities, and student development.

9. Organize workshops, seminars, and training sessions for continuous professional development on Tarbiyah principles. 

10. Mentor and support field and school-level coordinators in implementing the Tarbiyah Programme.

11. Develop tools and indicators to measure the outcomes, results, and impact of the Tarbiyah Programme. 

12. Conduct regular monitoring visits to schools and field offices to assess implementation and provide feedback. 

13. Document and share success stories, case studies, and best practices to showcase the programme’s impact.

14. Compile reports for senior management and the Board on programme performance and impact.

15. Develop and curate Tarbiyah learning materials, including books, manuals, and audiovisual content. 

16. Ensure the availability of age-appropriate and culturally sensitive materials for students. Oversee the translation and adaptation of relevant educational content.

17. Engage with parents, community members, academia, and educational authorities to build support for the Tarbiyah Programme. 

18. Represent READ Foundation in forums and networks related to Tarbiyah education.

19. Foster collaborations and partnerships with educational organizations and institutions that share the goals of the Tarbiyah Programme. 

20. Ability to travel to field offices and schools as required.
