Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst (Margin Analyst and Cash Flow Specialist) will join our project finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing profit margins, monitoring cash flow, and providing actionable insights to optimize financial performance. This role is critical for ensuring the company’s profitability and liquidity, supporting both short-term operations and long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Margin Analysis:

Analyze profit margins across products, services, and business units.
Monitor and report on gross and net margin trends, identifying areas for improvement.
Investigate cost variances and recommend strategies to control costs and maximize profitability.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to improve margin performance.

2) Cash Flow Management:

Monitor and forecast cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
Prepare detailed cash flow statements and reports for management.
Identify potential cash flow risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Optimize working capital by managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory levels.

3) Financial Reporting and Insights:

Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into margins and cash flow.
Present findings to senior management with actionable recommendations.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing margin and cash flow insights.

4) Process Improvement:

Evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems related to margin and cash flow management.
Automate reporting tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.

5) Compliance and Controls:

Ensure all financial processes adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.
Assist in audits by providing documentation and explanations related to margins and cash flow.
