Introduction:

SIF is currently seeking a Project Manager in Hyderabad, Sindh. The Project Manager will support SIF in implementing conditional Assistance funded by Donor. The project is foreseen to provide immediate Cash assistance for the affected communities.

Reports to: Base Program Manager Sindh Matrix Management: Field Coordinator Sindh

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of water conservation projects in Jamshoro.
Ensure project activities are completed on time, within scope, and in line with donor requirements and organizational standards.
Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.

Team Supervision:

Supervise and guide the program team, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Support team capacity building, providing regular feedback and mentoring.
Conduct regular meetings to track project progress and address any challenges.

Coordination and Collaboration:

Maintain strong relationships with donors, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
Work closely with SIF’s support departments (logistics, finance, HR) to ensure smooth operational support for project activities.
Ensure effective coordination with the MEAL department to integrate monitoring, evaluation, and learning into the project life cycle.

Community Mobilization:

Engage communities in water conservation initiatives, fostering their active participation and ownership.
Lead community sensitization campaigns on water resource management and environmental conservation.

Reporting and Compliance:

Prepare and submit timely reports on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
Ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies and procedures.
Provide regular updates to the Base Program Manager and Field Coordinator.
