Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses in relevant areas of Biosciences (e.g., Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Ecology).
  • Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, laboratory sessions, and tutorials.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching methods, including the use of technology and innovative instructional strategies.
  • Assess student learning through a variety of methods, including exams, quizzes, assignments, and projects.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their academic performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other academic activities.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment for students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field of Biosciences (e.g., Microbiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Ecology).
  • Strong understanding of fundamental biological concepts and principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in teaching or tutoring in a higher education setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in using relevant laboratory techniques and equipment.
  • Commitment to student success and continuous professional development.

  2. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
