Responsibilities:
- Write compelling and optimized video titles, descriptions, and tags to improve search visibility and attract more viewers.
- Conduct keyword research specific to YouTube to identify high-traffic search terms and integrate them effectively into content.
- Create engaging video scripts and outlines that align with our channel's voice and content strategy.
- Develop content ideas that are optimized for YouTube's algorithm, focusing on trending topics and audience interests.
- Analyze video performance and provide insights to improve SEO strategies, including click-through rates (CTR) and watch time.
- Collaborate with the video production team to ensure content is engaging, informative, and optimized for YouTube SEO.
- Optimize video thumbnails, ensuring they are visually appealing and encourage high click-through rates.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest YouTube SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends.
- Monitor and report on the performance of videos using YouTube Analytics and other relevant tools.
- Suggest strategies to increase subscriber count, video views, and overall channel growth through effective content optimization.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Content Writer with a focus on YouTube SEO, including a portfolio of optimized YouTube content.
- Strong understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, SEO principles, and content ranking factors.
- Ability to conduct YouTube-specific keyword research and integrate findings into content creation.
- Excellent writing skills with a strong command of grammar, style, and tone suitable for video content.
- Experience with YouTube Analytics and other tools like TubeBuddy, VidIQ, or similar for tracking and optimizing video performance.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate content ideas that resonate with the target audience and align with trending topics.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the content and production teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
