Job Summary / Major Responsibilities:

Ensure the implementation of QAIP and to carry out ongoing reviews of engagements to assess the effectiveness of branch/TPC/RCAD/MS/IS/RAR/Shariah audit reports by using “Quality Assurance Evaluation Criteria” (QAEC) and report results to the CIA on quarterly basis.
Organize and assign activities required to meet the aim of Quality Assurance System / Program, review the sample audit reports and identify the issues highlighted along with potential reasons/factors of highlighted gap.
Take up Control Weaknesses / gaps with the management (as duly approved EIC) for development of new controls / reengineering of existing controls to mitigate the risks evaluated by Audit and their periodic follow up.
Track changes in policies, procedures, controls, promulgations, and structures etc. that may affect IAM, ACC, IAC and audit strategy for periodic amendments / updation and improvement and take approval of the CIA to keep it updated.
Preparation of periodic summary reports for information of CIA.
Coordinate with respective functional/unit heads/Regional Heads for preparation of periodic agenda for BAC and maintenance of meeting records and onward submission of compliance to the Corporate Secretary on need basis in consultation with CIA/DCIA. training sessions/ workshops arranged by the Audit Units.
Review the cases pertaining to condonation of Audit irregularities and refund of Unclaimed Deposits forwarded by CIA and maintain database.
Review balance confirmations received through UPS/Courier and take appropriate action where required.
Check compliance of the Management Audit Report of CCG and obtain quarterly update as per management action plan.
Develop and maintain an educational environment where the knowledge and performance of the group is constantly advancing.
Develop and mentor staff through open communication, training and development opportunities, performance management and evaluation, build and maintain employee morale and motivation.
Timely and efficiently supervise the activities and tasks of the team/subordinates/direct reports and provide robust feedback and guidelines as and when required. Ensure capacity planning, team building, and effective execution of deliverables along with competitive, productive and position work culture.

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor`s or equivalent degree preferably in Accounting/Finance from an HEC-recognized local/ foreign university.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of banking experience including 3 years of relevant experience.

Age: Up to 55 years as of Sep 22, 2024.
