They are responsible for developing and implementing tax strategies that minimize liability while adhering to legal requirements. Additionally, this role involves frequent collaboration with various internal departments to ensure comprehensive financial planning and compliance.
Responsibilities

Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the companys financial objectives and ensure compliance with local and national tax laws.
Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns and related documents, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to deadlines.
Manage a team of three tax professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
Review and analyze the companys financial statements for tax implications and ensure all tax-related entries are appropriately recorded.
Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the organization and advising senior management accordingly.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to address tax compliance issues and develop strategies for tax optimization.
Educate team members and other departments on tax-related issues, enhancing overall company knowledge and compliance culture.
Conduct internal audits and reviews of tax processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for tax authorities and respond to inquiries, audits, and disputes in a timely manner.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management regarding tax planning, compliance status, and potential risks.
