VOIP Engineer

At Abacus Outsourcing, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled VOIP Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in VOIP technologies, particularly with Asterisk and VICI Dialer systems. The role primarily involves managing and optimizing VOIP infrastructure, ensuring seamless voice communications and high-quality services for our clients. The successful candidate will bring at least two years of experience in the core VOIP domain, along with a relevant educational qualification in computer science or information technology. While this position does not involve team management, strong collaboration and communication skills are essential to work effectively with cross-functional teams and deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain VOIP systems and routers to ensure optimal performance.
Install and troubleshoot Asterisk and VICI Dialer systems for various applications.
Monitor network performance and implement solutions to enhance system reliability.
Collaborate with team members to optimize call routing and minimize latency issues.
Provide technical support to users and respond to service requests in a timely manner.
Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure systems are up to date.
Develop documentation for network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Analyze voice traffic patterns and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
Work with vendors and service providers to resolve issues and manage service agreements.
Participate in project planning and execution for voice communication initiatives.
