We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Specialist to join on a part-time basis. This role offers the flexibility to manage it as a second job, with early morning hours preferred but not mandatory. It is more of a advisory role rather then a hands-on, you will need to advise the team to action on the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring and Incident Response: Utilize SIEM (Exabeam, Splunk, or Sentinel) and EDR (Defender) tools to monitor for and respond to security incidents.
Email Security: Manage and enhance email security measures to protect against phishing, malware, and other threats.
Security Controls Implementation: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security controls to mitigate risks.
Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation actions.
Documentation: Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation for security processes, policies, and procedures.
Firewall Management: Configure and manage Fortigate and Palo Alto firewalls to ensure network security.

Requirements:

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Experience with SIEM (Exabeam, Splunk, or Sentinel), EDR (Defender), and email security solutions.
Proficiency in incident response and security controls implementation.
Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop security documentation.
Hands-on experience with Fortigate and Palo Alto firewalls.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to advise on cyber security things.

Schedule:

20 hours per week.
Flexible timings
Remote work.

Additional Notes:

The specific tools and technologies used may vary depending on the company's needs.
The Cybersecurity Advisor may be required to participate in occasional weekends/holidays to respond to security incidents.
