You will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Hardware Support:

  1. Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and upgrading hardware components.
  3. Troubleshoot and repair hardware faults, including diagnosing and replacing faulty components.
  4. Conduct hardware audits to ensure compliance with company standards. 

Technical Support:

  1. Provide technical support and assistance to users via phone, email, and in-person.
  2. Resolve hardware-related issues, including printer, scanner, and other peripheral problems.
  3. Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors.

Inventory Management:

  1. Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, including tracking and monitoring stock levels.
  2. Order and procure hardware components and peripherals as needed.
  3. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Documentation:

  1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of hardware configurations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  2. Provide regular reports on hardware-related issues, including root cause analysis and recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience in IT hardware support or related field.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and equipment.
  5. Experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols.
