We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hardware support to our employees, ensuring that all IT equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Hardware Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues with IT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
2. Hardware Installation and Configuration: Install and configure new hardware, including desktops, laptops, and printers.
3. IT Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment, including cleaning, updating software, and replacing parts.
4. User Support: Provide technical support to employees, either in person or remotely, to resolve hardware-related issues.
5. IT Asset Management: Assist with IT asset management, including tracking and maintaining inventory of IT equipment.
Requirements:
1. A degree in computer science, IT, or a related field is required.
2. 3+ Years of Experience in Hardware Support: At least 2 years of experience in hardware support, preferably in a corporate environment.
3. Strong technical skills, including knowledge of hardware components, operating systems, and software applications.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
5. Knowledge of Networking Fundamentals: Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
