We're seeking an experienced VFX Designer (visual effects artist) to join our team, responsible for creating stunning visual effects for film, television, commercials, and other multimedia projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of visual effects principles, excellent design skills, and proficiency in industry-standard software.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Production:

  1. Collaborate to understand project requirements.
  2. Develop concept art and design boards.
  3. Create storyboards and animatics.

Production:

  1. Design and create 2D/3D visual effects, including CGI, motion graphics, and compositing.
  2. Work with modeling, texturing, and lighting teams to ensure seamless integration.
  3. Implement visual effects elements into live-action footage.

Post-Production:

  1. Composite and finalize visual effects shots.
  2. Ensure color grading and overall visual consistency.
  3. Collaborate with editors to integrate VFX into the final cut.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in:   

  • Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop)    
  • Maya/3ds Max    
  • Rendering engines

2. Strong understanding of:    

  • Visual effects principles    
  • Color theory    
  • Lighting and shading    
  • Compositing    
  • Particle simulations

Soft Skills:

  1. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  2. Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  3. Strong problem-solving and creative thinking.
  4. Attention to detail and quality control.
  5. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

Requirements:

  1. 3+ years of experience in VFX design.
  2. Bachelor's degree.
  3. Portfolio showcasing impressive VFX work
  4. Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems (optional).

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with VR/AR projects
  2. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
  3. Familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
