PKR. 60,000 - 125,000/Month

The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in IFRS/GAAP, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to lead financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow statements) in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
Manage tax filings (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax) and coordinate with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with SECP, FBR, and other regulatory requirements.

Accounting Operations:

Supervise accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll processes.
Review journal entries, reconciliations, and trial balances for accuracy.
Implement and optimize accounting policies, internal controls, and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).

Budgeting & Analysis:

Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.
Provide actionable insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Audit & Risk Management:

Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing findings proactively.
Mitigate financial risks through robust compliance frameworks.

Team Leadership:

Mentor junior accountants and oversee their professional development.
Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and procurement teams.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (CA/ACCA/CMA)

Experience:

5+ years of progressive experience in financial accounting.
Proven track record in financial reporting, tax management, and audit coordination.

Skills:

Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Tally) and Excel.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, FBR regulations, and SECP guidelines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in [specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, fintech, or multinationals].
Familiarity with ERP system implementation.
Knowledge of advanced financial modeling.

Experience Required: 5–7 years in accounting/finance

Salary Range: PKR 60,000–125,000+ per month (negotiable based on qualifications)
