When assigned, survey the market, collect the quotations prepare the comparative statements and present the case file to GM logistics
After necessary approval issue of purchase order
Ensure that the goods and services are supplied and available in time
Ensure that material/goods/services supplied against the purchase order /work order are of the desired quality, correct quantity & price and workmanship
Maintain a list of sources of general commodities, electro-medical equipment, IT equipment, furniture and routine stock items, and other essential stock with current price, this list will be reviewed periodically.
Maintain procurement record, quotations, purchase order, work order in system and files
Verification of the , delivery order, invoices and related documents submitted by the suppliers
Liaison with the suppliers / contractors to find their delivery / work status for the materials and services
Will be a member of hospital purchase committee and will prepare and process all purchase proposals as assigned
Work out annual budget requirements in consultation with the user departments and the Procurement Manager
Responsible for efficient, economical and smooth functioning of the procurement dept.
