Human Resource Operations Manager

Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital is a charitable organization dedicated to delivering high-quality eye care. The trust focuses on the prevention and control of blindness by providing accessible and affordable eye care services regardless of gender, race, color, or religion, with hospital-based tertiary eye care services and community-oriented prevention programs.

Responsibilities

Manage and lead the operations team, and provide guidance, coaching, and support to foster their growth and development.
Oversee all HR operational processes, including onboarding, Employee Relations, offboarding, payroll and HRIS management.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Prepare and submit HR-related reports as required by management.
Address and resolve employee issues and concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Work closely with the HR team to ensure employee’s concerns are timely addressed.
Collaborate with the team to streamline the recruitment process, from posting job openings to making offers.
Assist with developing job descriptions, participating in interviews, and conducting reference checks when needed.
Source potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and referrals.
Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives, such as policy development, diversity and inclusion programs.
Contribute to strategic HR planning and help drive continuous improvement.
Participate in quality improvement programs

Qualifications

Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
HR certification is a plus.
8-10 years of relevant experience out of which 2-3 years of managerial experience.
Experience in the Healthcare industry will be preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
