You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase the hotel’s revenue through effective marketing and sales initiatives. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and creating campaigns to enhance the hotel’s visibility, attract new guests, and retain loyal customers. The Sales & Marketing Manager works closely with the operations team to ensure that marketing efforts align with the hotel’s brand and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue goals, enhance brand awareness, and attract new business to the hotel.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and target audiences. Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Set and achieve sales targets for the hotel’s various segments, including corporate, leisure, group bookings, and events. Develop action plans and sales tactics to meet these goals.
  • Brand Management: Maintain and strengthen the hotel’s brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring consistency and alignment with the hotel’s mission, values, and target audience.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee online marketing efforts, including SEO, content marketing, social media campaigns, email marketing, and paid advertising. Collaborate with the hotel’s social media staff to increase the hotel’s online presence and engagement.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Build and nurture relationships with travel agents, tour operators, local businesses, and other partners to drive room bookings and event inquiries. Attend industry events and trade shows to network and identify new opportunities.
  • Promotions & Packages: Create and promote special packages, offers, and events to attract guests. Design seasonal promotions and targeted campaigns to drive bookings during low occupancy periods.
  • Advertising & Media Relations: Oversee the creation and placement of print, online, and digital advertisements. Manage relationships with media outlets, public relations firms, and advertising agencies.
  • Event Marketing: Plan and execute promotional events, open houses, and community outreach initiatives to increase awareness and generate leads for the hotel.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing activities, including performance metrics, lead generation, and ROI analysis. Track and report on the success of campaigns, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other hotel departments, including operations, revenue management, and guest services, to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with hotel objectives and customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry. Experience in digital marketing, brand management, and event planning is a plus.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, including market research, branding, and lead generation.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, including SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and marketing software.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and adjust marketing efforts.
