Full-stack Engineer
Hone is a startup that helps gamers win more through PC optimization. We are looking for experienced full-stack software engineers to join our fast-growing team. You'll have the opportunity to use cutting-edge tools and processes to build features that our users desperately need. What you should have
- At least 5 years of software development experience
- At least 2 years of experience building and shipping consumer products
- The ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality software quickly, with only a high-level direction
- Strong attention to product UI/UX; a passion for creating beautiful and functional software
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our web applications using ReactJS, NextJS, and NestJS frameworks.
- Collaborate with our design team to create beautiful and user-friendly web interfaces.
- Write high-quality, clean, and maintainable code that meets the standards of the industry.
- Perform regular code reviews to ensure the quality of the codebase.
- Develop new features and functionalities to enhance the user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the web applications.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Work with the product team to understand and implement new requirements.
Required Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience working with the whole stack
- Proficiency in React and building Single Page Applications
- Experience with SQL
Other useful skills
- A passion for PC or console gaming
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with Postgres
- Experience with Tailwind CSS
- Experience with Redux and Node
- Experience with ES6/ES7
- Experience with Electron and DevOps
- Bonus points if you have experience casting fire spells!
