Azka is seeking a skilled Rigger to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of rigging techniques and safety procedures, allowing them to perform lifting operations efficiently and safely. Responsibilities will include reading and interpreting blueprints, calculating load weights, and ensuring that all lifting equipment is in safe working condition. The candidate must have physical stamina to handle the demands of the job and ideally hold a TUV certification. Although this position does not involve managing a team, collaboration with other team members on-site is essential to ensure all rigging operations meet safety and quality standards. In this role, you will work with various types of rigging equipment and materials while adhering to all safety regulations. Your strong mathematical skills will assist in accurately calculating weights and loads, while your experience in the Gulf region will be valuable in understanding local practices and standards. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual whose contributions will be integral to our operation's success.
Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine rigging methods, equipment, and materials needed for lifting operations.
Calculate load weights and determine the safest lifting strategies to avoid accidents during rigging operations.
Inspect rigging equipment, including slings, shackles, and other accessories, to ensure they are in safe and functional condition before use.
Assemble rigging gear and set up lifting systems using ropes, pulleys, and block systems, ensuring secure and safe configurations.
Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to coordinate rigging activities and maintain safety protocols.
Monitor the rigging process during operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and making adjustments as necessary to mitigate risks.
Conduct regular assessments of rigging equipment and suggest maintenance or replacements to maintain operational efficiency.
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among team members and reporting any unsafe conditions immediately.
Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on the latest rigging techniques, safety protocols, and equipment innovations.
Maintain accurate records of rigging operations, equipment inspections, and compliance with safety regulations.
