We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Blanket Finishing and Coloring Engineer to oversee the final stages of blanket production, including coloring and finishing. This role will involve managing advanced machinery, maintaining high-quality standards, and optimizing processes for blanket manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

1) Machine Operation – Finishing Machines

Operate and monitor finishing machines, including Raising Machines (PWR-1), Shearing Machines, and Double Roller Polishing Machines (PDP-2 and PSP-1).
Adjust machine settings, including rollers, cutter gauges, and motors, to achieve desired finishes and textures.
Oversee additional machinery such as control cutters, fans, and warping devices to ensure optimal output.

2) Machine Operation – Coloring Process

Manage the coloring process using specialized machinery to ensure vibrant and consistent blanket hues.
Monitor dye application, drying, and fixing processes to meet color specifications and maintain fabric integrity.
Adjust machine parameters to control color depth, shade, and distribution.

3) Maintenance and Troubleshooting

Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance for finishing and coloring equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with dyeing systems, motors, rollers, and control panels to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with the technical team to improve overall equipment efficiency.

4) Quality Control

Inspect blankets throughout the coloring and finishing processes to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
Work closely with the quality assurance team to detect and rectify any inconsistencies in texture, finish, or color.

5) Process Optimization

Analyze data from machinery to optimize machine performance during the coloring and finishing stages.
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

6) Safety and Compliance

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols when handling machinery, chemicals, and dyes.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards in textile manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in finishing and/or dyeing operations in textile manufacturing.
Proficiency in operating finishing machines such as PWR-1, PDP-2, PSP-1, and coloring machinery.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with experience in machine maintenance.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with dyeing chemicals, machinery calibration, and maintaining dye consistency.
Experience with quality assurance practices in textile production.
Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with cross-functional departments.
