Core Responsibilities
• Manage all accounting transactions with accuracy
• Efficiently and timely handle monthly and annual closings
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely payments to suppliers/ vendors
• Substantiate and verify financial transactions and documents
• Prepare and update bank reconciliations
• Process staff payroll and other payments
• Prepare and manage balance sheets and income statements
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
• Prepare budget forecasts and perform variance analysis
• Support tax professionals in preparing tax returns
• Inspect and update all documentation and systems related to accounting and company finances
• Establish best practices related to accounting and finance
Skills Required
• 2 to 3 years of work experience in a similar capacity
• Master's degrees in Accounting/ Finance or equivalent
• Proven and advanced skills in MS Excel and MS Access
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
