Role and Responsibilities:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Database Officer will be responsible for the following deliverables;
1. Maintain a robust and comprehensive database management system, in coordination with the Project Coordinator and MEAL Coordinator, to ensure the availability of accurate data to meet project and donor deadlines and inform critical decision making.
2. Record, analyze, interpret, consolidate and report data related to ongoing project activities/interventions.
3. Assist MEAL and project teams in data collection and data entry, as needed.
4. Support the development of regular technical progress reports based on the results framework.
5. Collect and consolidate monthly data reports and data on progress against project indicators.
6. Produce infographics, dashboards, and presentations, through interpretation and visualization of key indicator data for internal and external stakeholders, including donors, government, and technical working groups.
7. Support the planning and development of monitoring activities, including but not limited to needs assessment, and baseline and end-line surveys.
8. Assist MEAL Coordinator in the development of appropriate monitoring and data management strategies, data collection tools, and reporting templates.
9. Ensure compliance with data protection policies and protocols across the organization and projects, in line with Cesvi and donor guidelines.
10. Respond to any internal and external data-related queries.
11. Support in troubleshooting IT-related issues in the office.
12. Any other job-related added task assigned by the supervisor.
