We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee financial operations for the Afghanistan region. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in financial planning, reporting, compliance, and risk management while ensuring alignment with business objectives. This is a remote role with occasional travel to Dubai and Afghanistan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support organizational growth.
- Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller to align financial goals with business objectives.
- Identify financial risks and provide mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Oversee financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.
- Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors for smooth execution.
- Lead the implementation and optimization of ERP systems.
- Ensure seamless integration of financial software for efficient and accuracy reporting
