Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree is a plus).
    • Any additional certification in sales, customer service, or marketing will be beneficial.
  2. Experience:

    • Previous experience in sales, particularly in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) or toiletry products, is highly desirable.
    • Knowledge of local markets and retail distribution channels.
  3. Sales Skills:

    • Strong ability to negotiate and close deals.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with clients.
    • Capability to build and maintain relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and other clients.
  4. Knowledge of Products:

    • Familiarity with toiletry products, including personal care items like soaps, shampoos, deodorants, etc.
    • Ability to explain product features and benefits effectively to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Order Booking:

    • Actively seek out retailers and wholesalers to promote and take orders for the company’s toiletry products.
    • Visit shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies to book orders and ensure consistent sales.
  2. Market Research:

    • Gather information on competitor products, pricing strategies, and consumer preferences.
    • Identify new sales opportunities by understanding market trends and customer needs.
  3. Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain relationships with customers to secure repeat orders.
    • Address client concerns and ensure timely delivery of products.
  4. Sales Targets:

    • Meet or exceed monthly sales and order booking targets.
    • Coordinate with the sales team and management to improve overall sales performance.
  5. Reporting:

    • Maintain records of orders, client information, and product sales.
    • Report daily or weekly sales figures to management.
  6. Logistics Coordination:

    • Work closely with the delivery or logistics team to ensure the timely fulfillment of orders.
    • Ensure stock availability and timely reordering of products.

    • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented.
    • Professional and presentable demeanor.
  2. Transport:

    • Ability to travel to different retail locations. If the territory is wide, having a driver’s license and access to a vehicle may be required.
  3. Tech Skills:

    • Basic knowledge of using order booking apps or systems.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) for maintaining records and reports.

Compensation and Incentives:

  • Base salary along with performance-based commissions or bonuses.
  • Incentives for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
