The National Police Foundation was established in March 1975 as a Trust for the benefit of all police forces in the country. It is headed by a serving/ retired Inspector General of Police. The main objective of the NPF is to provide help in the shape of medical, education, one time grants, artificial limbs, scholarships, dowry, vocational training centers etc.It is a self-financing agency and generates funds from its own projects such as industrial units, Housing Schemes, Security Services etc.
