Conduct internal audits across departments (Accounts, HR, Stores, Production, Import/Export, Administration etc.) to assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls in each department and identify areas for improvement to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency.
Perform risk assessments within each department to identify potential areas of concern and develop audit plans accordingly.
Prepare detailed audit reports for each department, outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
Collaborate with department heads and process owners to implement corrective actions and monitor the progress of remediation efforts.
Stay informed about changes in regulations and industry best practices to ensure audit processes remain current and effective.
Conduct special investigations as required and provide support during external audits.
Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures within each department that contribute to a strong internal control environment.
