This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of international trade, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supplier management, telephone sales, reporting, and strategic business development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring that all purchasing activities are conducted efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of supply chain management and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation:
- Identify and manage relationships with suppliers in Asia to ensure quality, cost-effective procurement for the US market.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve the best outcomes for the company.
Market Expansion:
- Develop and implement strategies to expand market presence in the US, including identifying new business opportunities and potential partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing strategies with business goals.
Sales & Client Acquisition:
- Conduct phone-based outreach to potential clients and suppliers, building strong business relationships.
- Manage the sales pipeline and drive acquisition efforts to support business development goals.
Data Reporting & Analysis:
- Create and present detailed reports on procurement activities, market trends, and business performance.
- Analyze key metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Trade Expertise:
- Stay informed on market dynamics, cultural differences, and trade regulations that impact business operations between Asia and the US.
- Implement best practices in international trade and supply chain management.
Use of MS Office & Digital Tools:
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to create reports, perform data analysis, and prepare presentations.

Qualifications:

Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in purchasing, business development, or related fields, with a focus on the US market.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of additional Asian languages is advantageous but not required.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, with experience in phone-based sales and negotiations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Cultural & Market Awareness:
- Strong understanding of cross-cultural dynamics, international trade practices, and market conditions affecting business between Asia and the US.
