AutoCAD Draftsman - Intern

Responsibilities:

Assist the design team in creating and modifying CAD drawings using AutoCAD.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop accurate and detailed technical drawings.
Utilize SAP2000 for structural analysis and calculations.
Contribute to the design process by providing innovative ideas and suggestions.
Support the team in preparing design reports, cost estimates, and analyses.
Learn and apply engineering principles and design standards to assigned projects.
Maintained organized documentation of design files and revisions.
Work collaboratively with the team to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in creating and editing 2D and 3D drawings.
Familiarity with structural analysis software such as SAP2000.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to perform design and cost estimation tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for cost analysis.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in design.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous internship or work experience in a design-related role.
Knowledge of other design software, such as Revit or SolidWorks.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical or civil engineering.
