We are seeking a skilled and creative 2D animator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bringing characters and stories to life through traditional or digital 2D animation techniques. The 2D animator will work closely with directors, storyboard artists, and other team members to ensure seamless animation that aligns with the project’s vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and animate 2D characters, props, and backgrounds based on storyboards, concept art, and creative briefs.
Understand and accurately convey character personalities, emotions, and movements through animation.
Collaborate with the creative team to ensure consistency in animation style and adherence to project guidelines.
Utilise industry-standard 2D animation software (e.g., Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, TV Paint) proficiently.
Create animatics, layout poses, and in-betweens to produce smooth and fluid character animations.
Participate in animation reviews and feedback sessions to refine and iterate on animations.
Meet project deadlines and manage time efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in 2D animation (traditional or digital) for films, television, video games, or other multimedia projects.
Strong understanding of animation principles, such as timing, spacing, squash and stretch, and anticipation.
Familiarity with animation production pipelines and workflows.
Proficiency in relevant 2D animation software and tools
