Senior Manager – Injection Molding / Project

The Senior Manager Injection Molding / Project at Haier is responsible for leading and managing injection molding operations and project planning activities. This role ensures production excellence, process optimization, timely execution of new initiatives, and compliance with quality and safety standards. The selected candidate will oversee a team of 20 professionals, fostering team development, and facilitating a culture of continuous improvement. Your experience will be crucial in driving the success of engineering and production-related projects, ensuring that targets are met effectively and efficiently across various functions.
Responsibilities

Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics to guarantee departmental targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved.
Analyze production data and initiate corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
Create and maintain detailed project plans for new mold installations, machine upgrades, and process improvements that align with strategic business goals.
Lead cross-functional teams during the execution of projects, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are aligned and engaged throughout the process.
Ensure all project milestones are achieved within the agreed timelines and budget constraints without compromising quality.
Facilitate coordination with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and commissioning of project-related equipment.
Troubleshoot and resolve mold-related issues proactively to minimize downtime and maximize production output.
Collaborate with Research and Development (R&D) and engineering teams to introduce new molds, products, or processes effectively.
Supervise and execute preventive maintenance programs to maintain high operational efficiency.
Coordinate machine repairs and upgrades in conjunction with the maintenance team to ensure timely interventions.
Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to prevent any interruptions in production schedules.
Oversee third-party material shipment tracking and local parts availability in partnership with the Production Planning and Control (PPC) team.
Ensure compliance during material receiving processes by utilizing SAP/WMS systems to resolve any bill of materials (BOM) consumption issues.
Maintain adherence to ISO and other regulatory standards to ensure operational integrity and compliance.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, closely monitoring costs related to maintenance, labor, projects, and spare parts procurement.
Implement the 6S methodology across the injection molding floor to enhance workplace organization and efficiency.
Foster a robust safety culture by addressing physical safety risks and improving employee safety behaviors continuously.
Design and deliver training programs aimed at enhancing team skills and capabilities, empowering employees to achieve their full potential.
Regularly assess and enhance the technical competencies of the workforce to ensure they meet evolving industry standards.
Oversee month-end closing procedures, including the comprehensive inventory and stock-taking activities, to maintain accurate records.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Factory or Production Manager that align with operational goals and objectives.
