We are seeking a versatile and proactive IT and Technology Integration Specialist to join our team. This unique position requires a candidate who can manage and provide technical support for our on-site digital inspection tool, identify technological needs, understand and maintain our data management system, manage IT infrastructure across two offices, oversee cybersecurity, and troubleshoot general IT-related issues. The candidate will also need to write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various software and hardware used by staff, report to the Country Manager, and work with members of the International Accord on specific improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Inspection Tool Management:
· Manage and provide technical support for the use of Fieldwire, our on-site digital inspection tool.
· Set up projects within Fieldwire and ensure team members have access to the tools and projects.
· Train team members on proper usage and troubleshoot any issues.
2. Technology Needs Assessment:
· Identify the technology and devices needed by the team.
· Recommend and procure the necessary tools and equipment.
3. Data Management System:
· Develop an understanding of the organization’s data management system, specifically SharePoint.
· Help in the maintenance and regular updating of information within this system.
· Ensure data integrity and security.
4. IT Infrastructure Maintenance:
· Maintain the IT infrastructure within the organization’s two offices.
· Design, install, and set up the necessary backbone infrastructure upgrades.
· Ensure all hardware and software are up-to-date and functioning properly.
5. Cybersecurity Stewardship:
· Take ownership of the stewardship of the organization’s cybersecurity.
· Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
· Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
6. Technical Support:
· Troubleshoot general IT-related technical issues.
· Provide support and solutions to ensure minimal downtime and disruption.
· Assist employees with technical problems and provide guidance on best practices.
7. Team Coordination:
· Collaborate with engineering teams, training teams, compliance teams, logistics, and management.
· Participate in weekly meetings and coordinate as needed for specific projects and tasks.
8. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
· Write SOPs for the use of various software and hardware used by staff.
· Ensure that all SOPs are up-to-date and easily accessible.
9. International Coordination:
· Work with members of the International Accord on specific improvement projects relating to data management.
· Ensure compliance with international standards and practices.
